Yaoundé Hotel Elevator Project: Elevator Selection and China Procurement

Seven machine-room passenger elevators were configured for a 25-storey hotel in Yaoundé. The solution combines two rated-load classes with a unified 2.0 m/s speed to support guests, luggage and peak hotel traffic.

PROJECT OVERVIEW

From building requirements to a deliverable solution

This overseas elevator reference demonstrates how the building use, floor count, passenger profile and luggage demand can be translated into a practical vertical-transport plan.

Kerui supported the project through elevator selection, technical parameter coordination, elevator procurement from China and export-delivery preparation.

01 / ELEVATOR SELECTION

Elevator selection for hotel traffic

The elevator selection strategy separates high-capacity demand from routine passenger movement while retaining a consistent travel speed across the hotel.

  • 3 machine-room passenger elevators: 1,600 kg rated load and 2.0 m/s rated speed
  • 4 machine-room passenger elevators: 1,000 kg rated load and 2.0 m/s rated speed
  • Two capacity classes support normal guest traffic, concentrated arrivals and passengers travelling with luggage
  • Seven units create operational flexibility during occupancy peaks and scheduled maintenance

02 / CHINA PROCUREMENT

Elevator procurement from China

  • 01

Confirm shaft dimensions, floor-to-floor heights, stops, openings, power supply and required finishes before final quotation.

  • 02

Coordinate technical submittals, equipment schedules and interface drawings with the overseas project team.

  • 03

Prepare packing, export documentation and delivery sequencing around the construction programme.

03 / OVERSEAS INSTALLATION

Overseas elevator installation support

  • Pre-installation review of civil interfaces and equipment arrival conditions
  • Remote or onsite technical guidance according to the agreed project scope
  • Commissioning preparation, testing coordination and acceptance-document support

04 / OVERSEAS PERFORMANCE

Project value and overseas performance

A tiered-capacity solution balances large-load demand with regular passenger efficiency.
A unified 2.0 m/s speed provides a consistent travel rhythm across 25 floors.
The project expands Kerui's overseas elevator project experience in the African hotel market.
Information note

Project names, locations, quantities and technical parameters are compiled from available project materials. The final service scope is subject to the contract and approved technical documents.
